The Temple Of Thoughts FAQ 1.0

The FAQ for First Time visitors (and those who are wondering). Version 1.01

Q: What?
A: Yah, what is what?

Q: No. I mean what is this?
A: Welcome to The Temple Of Thoughts 2.5. You are reading the FAQ for first time visitors or for those who are just wondering.

Q: Why 2.5?
A: A brief history of The Temple Of Thoughts by kkyz13. It started off as just a blog on blogger in 2003, I got into blogging by 2 people (their links are on the left, in 'other blogs') where they somehow coaxed me into blogging. I would remember well if it weren't for the events that happened next.

A virus wiped out my computer, losing all data of anything that happened before and also, part of the temple, including pictures. When I came back to the Internet, I see a scene of frozen state, where my blog and a couple of others were frozen at a date that was donkey months ago at that time. I then thought: 'Why not update daily?' and The Temple Of Thoughts 2 was born. It is still there, but in a broken and un-updated state. It was due to a malfunction of a script in Blogger sometime ago in early 2004, which somehow conflicted with my Internet Explorer. The daily updates became broken.

Then the worst thing imaginable happened. A mandatory graphic card upgrade caused instability in Windows ME, causing me to format the computer again. After a week of repair, I came back to try to update on the Temple Of Thoughts 2. But the malfunction script still lingers, and I was forced to move to keep daily updates flowing. I tried Xanga, blogcity, but settled in 20six, which came to my knowledge a long time ago on www.mess.be. But moving in was difficult, being the HTML junkie, I couldn't take not being able to modify my blog, but at least I could change text and background colour. In late April 2004, The Temple of Thoughts 2 officially moved to 20six.

From there onwards, after settling down and managing to get my computer back to working order, it was daily updates nearly every month. In August, since I no longer like blogger and is not returning to my old Temple Of Thoughts 2, upgraded this blog from version 2 to 2.5.

Other notable facts include I did game reviews in 2003-early 2004. Unfortunately, Photobucket degrading of free accounts in October 2004 caused the lost of much work.

Q: Why not Version 3? Why must you use 2.5?
A: Version 3 is currently still under construction, hosted by Blogger, but version 3 is only launched when 20six fails me finally.

Q: Is there any clear objective of this weblog?
A: The short answer is 'no'. The long answer is 'no, because this is my so-called personal online journal. I may do articles of games or issues relating with my life, but mostly is just my day and some comment about it.’

Q: Isn't that kinda lame?
A: That is because you don't own a weblog if you asked that question.

Q: Hey, do you know that you suck? (or your comics stink?)
A: Well, you do too. You breathe, right?

Q: Hey, can I report a broken picture?
A: Congrats. I spend countless nights trying to keep all my pictures uplinked and working. But since the staff of the Temple Of Thoughts 2.5 consist of one dude, he can't do wonders. But DO notify him (me) by commenting or signing the guestbook, explaining in detail where is the disruptive picture. Sometimes you could also just refresh and hope the picture comes back.

Q: Hey, can I report a broken link?
A: Most of the outgoing links in this blog is not mantained by me. So go cry to the ones who made the links, not me.

Q: Did you know your blog is AWESOME?
A: Good, go sign the guestbook to keep me happy. Or send me money. Either way.

Q: I got a question... where can I ask?
A: Sign the guestbook, comment or e-mail me if you want it private. I am assuming you can find your own way to the 'send an e-mail to author' room, because I hate spam and am not posting my e-mail in clear sight.

Q: What is the unlisted site policy all about?
A: To protect the privacy of the people or parties involved in my life, I am trying my best to not use names anywhere, unless the respective people or parties allow me to use their names on the blog. Other components of the policy include minimal bashing of related events/stuff, because I had a close call once with the Ministry Of Education. (and I am still schooling)

Q: Can you put my blog link to your blog?
A: If you ask nicely, and if your blog don't contain spyware, pornography, or malicious scripts such as browser hijacking. I strongly detest them, and so does the majority of the public.

Q: Can I criticise on something, but am too afraid to?
A: Go ahead, as long as the criticism you are about to post is constructive, advising me on how to improve your experience, or just to be awed by my humble blog. If you are afraid of posting unconstructive comments, here is a few guidelines.

Constructive comments have kind suggestions or advice on improving a certain thing.

eg (commenting on one of my sketches):
Nice job on the body, but the left arm looks longer than the right. There can be improvement on the face and hair, but a good attempt.
(OR)
Wow.

Unconstructive comments habe rude comments, which usually contains no suggestion or advice on how to improve. If it does come with a suggestion, it would be most likely rude. So aviod being a foul mouth.

eg (commenting on one of my sketches):
IT SUCKS. You better stop drawing or my head will implode.
(OR)
You're stupid.

Q: I love/hate you.
A: Please rephrase your enquires in questions only.

(Sign the guestbook if you got questions, I would try to answer as many of them as possible.)
